Safari won Gold and Silver Footprint Awards
Safari honoured by SACSC with a GOLD award for Denlyn and a SILVER award for Nkomo Village at the annual SACSC Footprint Marketing Awards on 18 November 2022
The Annual SACSC Footprint Marketing Awards seek to recognise exceptional marketing, innovation and creative achievements together with economic success in the shopping centre sphere within the South African property industry. Safari entered two of our CSI projects in the Community Relations category namely #DenlynCommunityMatters as well as #NkomoCommunityMatters.
We are so proud that Nkomo Village was awarded with SILVER and Denlyn awarded with GOLD! To put this in context, there were only 17 Gold and 33 Silver awards given on the day from a total of 184 entries. Our projects are run internally by Safari's own staff and centre managers as opposed to most of the entrants making use of external marketing consultants to drive their projects and campaigns.
The SACSC Footprint Marketing Awards celebrates excellence in Shopping Centre Marketing. Marketing remains a fundamental element of any successful business and the skill and creative process of implementing the "perfect" promotion or publicity is often underestimated and overlooked. It is with this purpose that the SACSC recognises the importance of these awards and that the acknowledgement, recognition and the contribution made by the relevant marketers and centres to this dynamic retailing industry, is attributed where due. – SACSC
